ABOUT US

The Fire Prevention Association of North Texas (F.P.A.N.T.) is a regional association of fire prevention and education professionals with the following shared goals:

 

  • To identify, develop, and promote the many fire prevention bureaus of North Texas,

  • To promote a more uniform application of codes, local amendments, and standards,

  • To support the International Fire Code and other related codes and standards

  • To further educate the membership by hosting seminars and workshops, using professionals in their appropriate fields of study.

To inspire and advance fire prevention excellence in North Texas, setting a standard of safety, education, and collaboration that influences communities beyond our region.
 

Mission

To empower fire prevention professionals by providing education, resources, and support, fostering a unified approach to fire codes and standards, and building meaningful relationships with the public to promote fire safety and prevention.
